Dublin, Ireland – Druid Padel will open its newest club in Kimmage at BD Gyms Carlisle on Monday 16 February, expanding access to premium, community-led padel in Dublin. The new venue features three covered padel courts and a welcoming clubhouse environment, including reception, a club shop, and an on-site food and beverage offering. The club will run a year-round calendar of padel experiences, including social events, tournaments, leagues and corporate events—designed to serve both committed players and first-timers.

Padel is growing fast in Ireland, and women are at the centre of that growth. As a female-founded company, Druid Padel is proud to help lead the way in creating opportunities for women and girls to play, coach and succeed in sport.
Across Ireland, a new sport is taking hold. Padel courts are appearing in more towns, clubs are forming, and players of all ages are discovering a game that is easy to learn, fun to play and full of energy. Padel blends the best of tennis and squash. It is played in doubles on an enclosed court and rewards teamwork and quick reactions more than power or experience. Because of this, it appeals to everyone — from complete beginners to seasoned athletes.
There is something special happening in Dublin 15. Druid Padel Coolmine is opening soon, bringing a new home for padel to one of Dublin’s most active sporting communities.

The International Padel Federation (FIP) has announced that the 2024 World Championship will take place from October 28th to November 2nd. Argentina and Spain (in the men's and women's categories respectively) will seek to defend their titles won in 2022.
