Druid Padel Kimmage Hosts Successful Her Sport Fundraising Weekend

Druid Padel Kimmage was delighted to welcome Her Sport to the club for a special two-day fundraising event in support of the Her Sport Foundation. Held across the weekend of 28 and 29 March, the sessions brought together a brilliant mix of first-time players and familiar faces for two fun, beginner-friendly mornings centred around participation, confidence and community.

The event was a strong reflection of what padel can offer: an accessible, social and inclusive sporting experience that encourages people to get active and try something new. It was especially encouraging to see so many women stepping onto court, many for the first time, and enjoying the game in such a welcoming environment. At Druid Padel, creating opportunities like this is central to our mission to help more people play, grow and belong through padel.

We would like to thank Her Sport for partnering with us on such a positive initiative, and to everyone who attended and supported the weekend. It was a pleasure to host an event that not only introduced more people to padel at Druid Padel Kimmage, but also supported the important work of the Her Sport Foundation in backing women and girls in sport.
