Druid Padel Beginners Fortnight Competition - Terms & Conditions
1. Eligibility
- The Competition (the “Competition”) is open to residents of the Republic of Ireland aged 18 years or over.
- Employees, officers, directors, contractors and agents of Druid Padel, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.
- Druid Padel reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant and to disqualify any entrant who does not meet these eligibility requirements.
2. How to Enter
To enter the Competition, entrants must complete all three of the following steps:
- Follow Druid Padel on both Instagram and Facebook.
- Like the official Druid Padel Competition post on Instagram or Facebook.
- Comment on the Competition post and tag the friend or friends they would bring along for their first padel session.
The Competition opens on Wednesday, 12 August 2026 and closes at 11:59pm on Sunday, 16 August 2026.
The winner will be announced on Monday, 17 August 2026 via Druid Padel’s social media channels and contacted by Direct Message via the platform on which their valid entry was submitted.
Entries received after the closing time will not be considered.
Entrants may enter on both Instagram and Facebook, provided they complete all of the entry requirements above for each platform.
Only one entry per person per platform will be accepted.
No purchase is necessary to enter the Competition.
3. Winner Selection
- One winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received across Instagram and Facebook.
- To be eligible, an entrant must have completed all entry requirements set out in Section 2.
- The draw will take place after the Competition closes.
- The winner’s selection is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the result.
- If the selected winner does not respond within 48 hours of being contacted, or is found to be ineligible, Druid Padel reserves the right to select an alternative winner from the remaining valid entries.
4. Prize
The winner will receive:
- A 60-minute padel court booking for themselves and three friends at Druid Padel.
- The winner may choose between Kimmage or Coolmine RFC, subject to availability.
- Padel rackets and balls will be provided for the session.
- A short beginner introduction from a Druid Padel coach or club host at the start of the session, subject to availability.
The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and has no cash alternative.
5. Prize Redemption
- The winner will be contacted by Druid Padel with instructions for arranging their prize.
- The prize must be booked in advance and is subject to court availability.
- Druid Padel will endeavour to accommodate the winner’s preferred venue and date but cannot guarantee availability at a particular time or location.
- The winner and their guests are responsible for attending the booked session at the agreed time and complying with any applicable venue rules.
- The prize must be redeemed within a reasonable period agreed with Druid Padel. If the winner is unable to redeem the prize within this period, Druid Padel reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
- The prize cannot be resold or transferred without the prior agreement of Druid Padel.
6. Agreement to Terms
- By entering the Competition, entrants confirm that they have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
- All entries are subject to these Terms & Conditions and the official rules of the Competition.
- Submission of an entry constitutes full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
- Druid Padel reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is incomplete, fraudulent, misleading, offensive, inappropriate or otherwise does not comply with these Terms & Conditions.
- Druid Padel reserves the right to verify entries and request reasonable evidence of eligibility.
- Druid Padel’s decision in relation to the administration and outcome of the Competition is final.
7. Publicity
- The winner’s name and/or social media handle may be used by Druid Padel to announce the winner on its social media channels.
- The winner may be invited to participate in reasonable promotional content relating to the Competition and their prize, subject to their agreement.
- No entrant is required to provide additional promotional content as a condition of entering the Competition.
8. Data Protection
- Personal data provided by entrants will be processed for the purposes of administering the Competition, selecting and contacting the winner and fulfilling the prize.
- Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable Irish and EU data protection legislation and Druid Padel’s applicable Privacy Policy.
- Personal data will not be used for unrelated marketing purposes unless the entrant has separately provided the appropriate consent.
- Entrants may exercise their applicable data protection rights in accordance with Druid Padel’s Privacy Policy.
9. General Terms
- Druid Padel reserves the right to cancel, amend, suspend or withdraw the Competition where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary.
- Druid Padel reserves the right to substitute the prize, or any element of the prize, with an alternative prize of equal or greater value where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary.
- Druid Padel accepts no responsibility for technical failures, delays, lost entries or other issues outside its reasonable control that may affect participation in the Competition.
- Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
10. Social Media Disclaimer
- This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram or Facebook.
- By entering the Competition, entrants release Instagram and Facebook from any liability arising from or relating to the Competition.
- Any information provided by entrants is provided to Druid Padel and not to Instagram or Facebook.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland.
- Any disputes arising in connection with the Competition shall be subject to the applicable jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
